Inspired by Aboriginal Wisdom and relationship systems the class was broken into 3 Clan groups, Kangaroo, Kookaburra and Crocodile. Each Clan symbolizes a land estate that they care for, in particular the water that flows through it, symbolized by the wave motif through each painting/Clan Estate. Applying this wisdom to our community, our land, we toured and were inspired by our own world class Casper Aquifer that feeds water to our University and town.
Working together each Clan decorated their Clan Estate first with group symbolism, then adding personal symbols, brands or stories that reflect their individual life journeys, Dreamings, Walkabouts, visions and goals that have lead them to and from this sacred land.
