Subscribe... I wanted to thank you...for coming and spending the day with my students. They totally loved it and I got several compliments from the teachers as well.
A few days after the presentation, when the kids came in from morning recess they were really excited to tell me they saw the Rainbow Snake-- I think there was a sun dog that morning.... and the kids applied it to their lesson on Australia.
Also, when I went to an appointment with my OB afterward she told me her daughter (a 1st grader) asked for "brekky" the next morning. The daughter then preceded to tell her mother you have to shorten your words in Australia or the flies will get in your mouth. :)
So thank you again for coming to see us! I wanted to share my two favorite stories about how your time here impacted the children.
